This incident resulted in the partial shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance thought to be pepper spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
